4. How does mobile IV therapy work?

It’s simple:

  1. Schedule online in advance or if you’re requesting day of or don’t see the time you want online, call or text us to see availability.

  2. A licensed medical professional comes to you.

  3. We review your health history, check your vitals, and administer your chosen infusion.

  4. You relax while the IV works its magic (usually 30–45 minutes).

5. Do I need to be sick or dehydrated to get an IV?

Not at all! While IV therapy is great for recovery from illness or dehydration, many of our clients use it proactively for wellness, beauty, athletic performance, or altitude adjustment.

6. How quickly will I feel the effects?

Many people feel a difference within minutes to hours — increased energy, mental clarity, and overall well-being. For others, it’s more gradual over the next day.

7. Who administers the IVs?

All infusions are administered by experienced, licensed medical professionals following strict safety protocols that are overseen by a Nurse Practicioncer who also has a Masters in pharmacy.

8. Are there any risks or side effects?

IV therapy is considered safe when administered by trained medical professionals, but — like any medical treatment — there are potential risks and side effects.

Possible minor side effects:

  • Temporary discomfort, redness, or bruising at the IV site

  • A cool sensation in the arm during the infusion

  • Mild lightheadedness or dizziness, especially if you haven’t eaten

  • A metallic taste in the mouth from certain vitamins (such as B-complex)

Less common but possible risks:

  • Vein irritation or inflammation (phlebitis)

  • Infiltration (fluid leaking into surrounding tissue if the IV moves)

  • Allergic reaction to specific vitamins or medications (rare)

  • Infection at the IV site (extremely rare when proper sterile techniques are used)

Safety precautions we take:

  • All infusions are administered by licensed, experienced medical professionals

  • We review your medical history and check vital signs before treatment

  • All equipment is sterile, single-use, and disposed of properly

  • We monitor you throughout the infusion and can stop treatment immediately if you feel unwell

We will not administer IV therapy if you have certain medical conditions or contraindications, and we’ll refer you to an appropriate healthcare provider if needed.

9. Who should NOT get IV therapy?

While IV therapy is safe for most healthy adults, there are certain situations where it may not be appropriate. You should not receive IV therapy if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding (unless cleared by your primary care provider)

  • Have certain heart conditions (such as congestive heart failure)

  • Have kidney disease or impaired kidney function

  • Have uncontrolled high blood pressure

  • Have a history of allergic reactions to any ingredients in the infusion

  • Are experiencing active infection at the IV site

  • Are under the age of 18 (unless specifically approved by a pediatric provider)

We always perform a health screening before your infusion and may decline treatment if we believe it is not safe for you. Your safety is our top priority.

10. How do I book an appointment?

Use our online schedule to book in advance. Be sure to tell us how many are in your group and where you would like them to take place.

Because we travel over a wide mountain area, we schedule same day appointments by call or text only to coordinate timing and location.
